Helge Bartels from Schulte Group, Diana Sanabria and Dorina Schwartz from Hapag Lloyd AG, Benjamin Witt from DNV Advisory and Hanno Geißler, partner at the law firm Ehlermann Rindfleisch Gadow, discussed the existing obligations to prepare sustainability reports and the implementation of the act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations (Lieferkettengesetzes - LkSG). The practical implementation of the obligated companies and the effects on suppliers were a key focus here. In addition, upcoming changes to the legal regulations were explained and their likely effects on company practice were discussed.
