Founded in 1982 as Dr. Ehlermann & Jeschonnek and operating under the name Ehlermann Rindfleisch Gadow since 2006, our firm has provided legal advice of the highest calibre for over forty years.

Our Hamburg office, which has been located on Ballindamm since 2006, is comprised of lawyers admitted to practice in various jurisdictions.

Our diverse team holds admissions to practice law in Germany, England and Wales, the Marshall Islands, Spain, Greece, and Indonesia.

We speak German, English, Mandarin, Greek, Spanish, Italian and Indonesian.

From our London office, we advise our clients on maritime transactions and disputes before courts and arbitration tribunals.

We advise, among others, credit institutions, institutional investors, private equity and hedge funds, family offices, issuing houses, leasing companies, ship and container management companies, shipping companies, shipyards as well as other companies with and without a maritime connection from Germany and abroad.

Following the approach of the UN Global Compact, we have clear defined principles to contribute to corporate social responsibility in society.

We strive to act responsibly by minimising negative impacts on society and the environment and exploring ways to maximise the positive impacts we can create.

Ehlermann Rindfleisch Gadow's lawyers are aware of environmental, corporate and social responsibilities and proactively address them when advising their clients. This awareness forms a cornerstone of our firm's legal practice.
