We are very pleased to announce the recent promotion of two new partners, Rebecca Oliver and Adam Parmenter, to our partnership effective as of 1 January 2021. The promotion of Rebecca Oliver, based in our London office, and Adam Parmenter, based in our Hamburg office, further strengthens the firm’s English law expertise. Together with Richard Henderson, we now have a total of three partners advising on English law.

Rebecca was admitted as a solicitor in 2001 and worked for major international law firms in London before joining Ehlermann Rindfleisch Gadow in 2016. Adam, initially admitted as a barrister and since 2013 as a solicitor, also initially worked for major international law firms in London before joining our firm in 2014. Both partners focus on ship finance, including sale and lease back transactions, with Adam also regularly advising on the sale and purchase of ships and on shipbuilding contracts.

With the addition of Rebecca and Adam to the partnership, we continue to expand our English law advisory services, emphasising our commitment to and foothold in international ship finance.

In addition to German and English law, we also advise on the law of the Marshall Islands as well as on selected legal issues of Greek and Liberian law.
