Founded in 1982 by Dr. Peter Ehlermann and Hans Jeschonnek under the name Dr. Ehlermann & Jeschonnek, the firm became Ehlermann Rindfleisch Gadow upon retirement of its founders in 2006.

Our firm specialises in all legal aspects of maritime finance and acquisitions, in particular the structuring of maritime asset financing as well as the drafting of loan and security documentation and the restructuring of such transactions.

We advise our clients on questions of sale and purchase as well as construction of maritime assets such as vessels and containers and render legal advice with respect to the arrest and forced sale of vessels. In addition we advise our clients on matters of corporate law and complementing the above areas of prectice also in other legal matters, e.g. insolvency law.
