One of Sven Deters’ main areas of activity is ship financing. He is active in domestic and foreign single and fleet finan­cings of new and used tonnage. Another focal point of his activities is advising on the sale and purchase of sea-going and inland waterway vessels, both newbuil­dings and used tonnage, as well as on regis­tration of ships and ship mortgages in German ship registers and various flag states worldwide. A third focus is on advising on the struc­turing of funds and investment companies for the financing of ships. In addition to the actual area of ship financing, Sven Deters also deals with corporate and insol­vency law issues.
