One of Christiana Soukri's main areas of activity is advising on the financing of ships.

She advises banks and financial institutions as well as owners and operators on the (re-)financing of vessels, including bareboat and leasing financings, on sale and purchase agreements and charter parties. She advises on the registration and release of mortgages under various flag states, account pledge agreements, assignments and guarantees, as well as related matters of corporate law. 

Christiana Soukri worked closely with shipowners, operators and other parties in the maritime industry at the shipping department of a Hamburg-based bank, focusing on operational and financing matters especially for the Greek market.
