Chris­tiana worked closely with shipowners, operators and other parties in the maritime industry at the shipping department of a Hamburg based bank, focusing on opera­tional and financing matters especially for the Greek market.

She advises banks and financial insti­tu­tions as well as owners and operators on the (re-)financing of vessels, including bareboat and leasing finan­cings, on sale & purchase agree­ments and charter parties. She advises on the regis­tration and release of mortgages under various flag states, account pledge agree­ments, assign­ments and guarantees, as well as related matters of corporate law. Chris­tiana also advised in relation to European anti-money laundering regula­tions and sanctions.
