Maje Tode specializes in the sale and purchase of newbuildings and existing vessels, as well as the registration of ships and ship mortgages in all known ship registries worldwide.

Maje Tode also advises some of Germany’s most renowned shipping companies during negotiations of ship building and ship acquisition contracts, as well as charter and management contracts. She also advises ship management entities in matters concerning the management of seagoing vessels. Maje Tode has comprehensive experience in national and international corporate law. She also works on projects dealing with structured construction and long term financing.

Short Biography

Maje Tode studied law at the universities of Marburg and Hamburg. She completed her legal education at the Higher Regional Court of Schleswig in 2002. In the same year, Maje Tode joined our firm. Since 2011 Maje Tode is partner of the firm.
