Hendrik Brauns’ main area of practice is structured maritime finance. He has advised numerous German and international banks and banking syndicates in the financing of single ships as well as fleets. He also advises on the sale and purchase of ships and on all matters related to ship and mortgage registration domestically and internationally.

Short biography

Hendrik Brauns studied law at the universities of Trier and Tübingen and completed his legal education with graduation in 2002 at the Higher Regional Court of Stuttgart. Following graduation, Hendrik Brauns worked for three and a half years in the legal department of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg where he advised on corporate and acquisition financing and leasing transactions. In April 2006 Hendrik Brauns joined our firm. Since 2012 Hendrik Brauns is a Partner of the firm.
