Since he joined the firm as a partner in 1988 Hartwig Gadow has advised banks and shipping companies in all legal matters concerning the construction and the long-term financing of ships as well as the negotiating and drafting of loan and security agreements and contracts on the sale and purchase of ships. Another focus of his work was the registration of ships and ship mortgages in Germany and abroad.

Hartwig Gadow has retired in 2012.
