Klaus Dimigen advises banks in the area of structured construction and long-term financing of containers. He also advises shipping companies in negotiating shipbuilding contracts and agreements on the purchase of ships. In addition Klaus Dimigen advises in the structuring of maritime projects for emission houses, which includes the drafting of purchase contracts, management and charter contracts as well as all contracts related to the set up of the investment projects. Klaus Dimigen advises in national and international shipping related transactions, with a focus on Turkey and Eastern Europe, and the Russian markets.

Klaus Dimigen is a member of the International Bar Association and lecturer at the Business School of Finance & Management of Frankfurt and Hamburg, for which he also acts as an author. Klaus Dimigen is admitted to the bar of the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

Short biography

Klaus Dimigen studied at the university of Passau. Having started to work for the firm in 1993, he joined as a lawyer in 1997. Klaus Dimigen completed his doctoral degree at the university of Hamburg with a maritime thesis on “Bareboat-charter and Bareboat-registration”. Since 2001 he is a partner to the firm.
